i think ive seen like.. 'airplane!'.. mrs doubtfire (SO so hard to watch,,,).. monty python & the holy grail (you REALLY should.. watch this its so good!!)
uuhmmm... bruce almighty,, liar liar,, truman show (all jim carrey).. kingsman is also pretty good!! its a wonderful life,,,, & die hard (i love die hard)
 
 ive also seen a few shows... uhm im not rlly keen on watching stuff tho...
 ive mostly seen like,,, breaking bad,, better call saul,,,, squid games.. (i forgot the rest </3)

i rlly like games (since im chronically online & all i do) but like.. ya,,
                            
id say my favorite is 100% ultrakill (i likey the music) i still gotta p-rank 8-3 & 1-e... 
& sum other good picks are tf2 (titanfall2),, battlefield 2,, cyberpunk/// oneshot (WAY too hard for me,,, im not good with puzzles...),, clinical trial (RLLY underrated..)... helldivers 2,, vtol vr, rdr2.... 

i do spend most of my time on roblox tho,,, sum good ones r like... blackout revival,, jjs (sumtimes),, pressure.. ulc (ew)... sorcery (BUT ITLL NEVER RELEASE).... mtc... grave/digger.. ya thats it !!! (sorry for this area being messy,,) :<

mmmm i love foo foo.... (EVEN THO JAY CALLS ME TUBBY OVER IT....)
actual food,,, : grilled cheese,, mac n cheese,, spaghetti,, lasanga,, chicken parm (only if its good..), chicken tenders (nuggets r worse..),,, string cheese and gogurts.... corn & brocolli & rice too... fries... uhhh i forgot the others...

we love pastries,,, france has RLLY good pastries... like eclairs ;drooling;... i luv eclairs.. 
i also rlly like otterpops (the BIG ones..),, mambas (the candy..) ,,, mint choco icecream,, honestly just about ANYTHING sweet,, (i have a major sweettooth </3)

hi okay so... i kno normally people dont have uhm... a ton of stuff about guillotines on their profile but like,,,, guillotines are cool!!!!! 

i like them a bunch and i dont know why and i should probably go to a psychiatrist about it...

first used

did u kno that the first guillotine execution was on april 25, 1792?? they used it on a highwayman named nicolas pelletier in paris,, the crowd was actually DISAPPOINTED (crazy..) because they were used to more brutal executions like breaking on the wheel & stuff (they literally booed bc it was TOO fast and clean)...

last authorized execution

did u kno that the last time guillotines were used for executions was in 1977?? it was used on hamida djandoubi in france after he was convicted of murder with aggravating circumstances, procuring (prostitution), 2 counts of rape (1 was a 15 y/o girl) & 3 counts of premeditated violence. his lawyer pleaded not guilty due to him losing his legs (driving him to alcohol abuse). he was obviously guilty & he was sentenced to death (after a rejected appeal) on 9/10/1977 !!!

the science of being beheaded (supposedly)

okey soo like... scientists have been FIGHTING about this for over 200 years,, in 1905 a doctor called out a dead guy's name after his head was chopped off and claimed the eyes lifted and looked at him (multiple times,, yuck..)... other doctors did experiments with electrical probes to make severed heads make faces (how does that confirm anything???),, a 1975 study on rats found brain activity for about 13-15 seconds after decapitation which the researchers said was consistent with feeling pain... idk sounds pretty cool...

why it's shaped like that (the angled blade)

the blade is angled at 45 degrees (& straight) for a reason!! if it was straight across (parallel to the ground), it would just smash the neck instead of slicing clean through (and not solve the issue they wanted to solve,,,).. the angle creates a shearing motion that starts at one side and cuts across diagonally,, which is WAY more efficient !! think about cutting a tomato - a straight chop kinda squishes it, but a diagonal slicing motion cuts right through !!! that & a curved blade would be harder to forge and maintain, so the angled straight blade was the move... THAT & the blade was also like RLLY heavy... (like 40kg / 88lbs) so thats y it was so effective !!!

inventor

the guillotine wasn't actually invented by dr. joseph-ignace guillotin (the name is a misnomer),, he was just a doctor who proposed that france use a mechanical decapitation device because sword beheadings were getting BOTCHED (one guy needed like 15 blows)... the real designer was dr. antoine louis,, and it was built by a german harpsichord maker named tobias schmidt (really??? a harpsichord maker???? okey bro,,).. guillotin HATED that his name was attached to it and his family tried to change it later but it didn't work lol

public souvenir incident thingy (1939)

for the 1939 public execution of eugen weidmann (the last public guillotine execution), people literally showed up HOURS early, and when his head was cut off they rushed forward to dip their handkerchiefs in his blood as souvenirs.

guillotine's use in ww2 (by hitler)

even though it was (mostly) used for france,,, the guillotine actually found use OUTSIDE of france... in germany,, during ww2.. (yea..)... BASICALLY in 1930,, hitler made the guillotine a state method of execution  & ordered that 20 of them were to be placed around cities in germany... and ACCORDING to records,, they killed ~16500 people (JUST as many as in the french revolution).. and many of them were resistance fighters & dissidents...

idk idk like... theyre big and cool.. amd it would probably be SUPER scary (scarier than other execution methods) & stuff

like okey its FUN to watch,, its RLLY fast and it makes a satisfying noise and JUISHBGFOHKASBGKASG its SO satisfying how their head just comes clean off & drops to the floor (or bucket)

besides compared to OTHER execution methods,, its a lot more silly and less painless (maybe??) so thats awesome!!!! like lethal injection is boring... electric chair is slightly cool... but guillotine is the best

executioner lore stuff

did u kno that the most famous executioner family in france was the sansons?? charles-henri sanson was THE executioner during the french revolution !!! he executed like 3,000 people including king louis xvi and marie antoinette,,,,

the job was basically a family business they passed it down like u would a bakery.. charles-henri's son henri became an executioner too and literally had a mental breakdown (sucks to suck) after executing sum women... he tried to quit but his dad was like "nuh get back to work"

also executioners were kinda like celebrities?? people would ask for their autographs and write letters asking them to be gentle (ironic lol).. some executioners even had rivalries with each other.. there was a whole drama in the 1870s where louis deibler and nicholas roch (these names are AWFUL,,) were FIGHTING over who got to execute a famous murderer

and the PAY wasn't even that good.. they got a salary plus "perk" taxes on certain goods sold at executions (like rope from the old hanging days). basically an executioner's job benefits r like... "a portion of the rope sales"...
